It appears that a member of the Berlanti-verse is coming to the game platform of your choice this November. That’s right, Paul Blackthorne of Arrow and The Dresden Files fame announced via Twitter that he will be involved in Star Wars: Battlefront II, the sequel to 2015’s reboot of the highest selling Star Wars game of all time.
Star Wars: Battlefront II’s single player campaign places you in the role of Iden Versio (Janina Gavankar), a member of an elite stormtrooper unit called Inferno Squad that is on the surface of the forest moon of Endor when the Death Star is destroyed at the end of 1983’s “Return of the Jedi”. The road of vengeance takes you on an adventure lasting three decades. Now, you may ask yourself; where does Paul Blackthorne fit in? He plays a character named Gideon: a fellow member of Inferno Squad.
The game will stretch all the way from “The Phantom Menace” to “The Force Awakens”. Tanks and heroes will appear in the game. Including characters such as Darth Maul, Yoda, Rey and Kylo Ren. Also, creatures such as Tauntauns will appear in the game.
Blackthorne has been a series regular on Arrow since its debut in 2012. The original character “Larry Lance” first appeared in “Flash Comics #92 nearly seven decades ago. He was created by Robert Kanigher and Carmine Infantino. Last week during Star Wars: Celebration Blackthorne was seen in a behind-the-scenes video.
