Barry Allen’s next hurdle could be bigger than any Flashpoint consequence according to executive producer Andrew Kreisberg. When speaking to IGN, Kreisberg said “The Present” the midseason finale of “The Flash” will present a new puzzle piece to the Flashpoint dry erase board full of The Phantom Zone Podcast’s theories.
“The mid-season finale [airing Dec. 6] kind of creates a new problem for our heroes that they weren’t anticipating, something that they’ve never faced before,” Kreisberg explained. “It’s so big, we’re actually considering changing the saga sell from talking about Flashpoint to talking about that, because that’s really what’s driving the episodes for the rest of the season.”
“The message from the future relates to Flashpoint, but it also may relate to something else coming up,”
The Flash is on Tuesday’s at 8:00 PM EST/PST and stars Grant Gustin in the titular role, Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanaugh, Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Felton and Keiynan Lonsdale. You can watch the latest episode of The Flash here.
