EP Marc Guggenheim of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow tweeted out the cover of Legends of Tomorrow’s Season 2 penultimate episode and things may be getting medieval.
The episode title is an homage to Mike W. Barr and Brian Bolland’s 12- issue miniseries. The series that ran from ’82-’85 saw King Arthur and the Knight’s of the Round Table traveled to the year 3000 where their common enemy Morgan Le Fey this time around though she led an alien invasion. Merlin, Guinevere and Mordred are also involved. The series would ocassionaly flash back to the Arthurian legend.
Then again, with the Legends having a timeship they could go from Medieval England to the future. Regardless, there has to be a reason this name was chosen so only time will tell. WHO, KNOWS?
“Camelot/3000” is written by Anderson McKenzie and directed by Antonio Negret.
